Luoghi Parlanti, Talking Places, is a project that brings cultural heritage to life through the stories, memories and identities of local communities.
Through itineraries, digital content and heritage interpretation tools, the project transforms places, landscapes and cultural assets into opportunities for discovery, participation and dialogue.
Every place holds stories, traditions, knowledge, and testimonies that contribute to defining its identity.
Talking Places® was created to give a voice to this tangible and intangible heritage, fostering a more conscious relationship between people, communities, and territories.
Through storytelling, heritage becomes a tool capable of bringing different cultures together and generating new opportunities for encounter.
The project involves local authorities, cultural institutions, schools, associations and citizens in creating narratives that highlight the distinctive character of each territory.
Communities are not simply the subjects of these stories, but active participants in collecting, preserving and sharing their own histories.
Luoghi Parlanti utilises digital tools to make cultural heritage more accessible and encourage new ways to engage with and discover it.
Through thematic itineraries, multimedia content and innovative solutions, the project creates experiences that connect visitors, residents and cultural heritage.
The principles of Luoghi Parlanti are part of the Foundation’s broader commitment to promoting cultural heritage as a resource for dialogue, mutual understanding and the sustainable development of territories.
The project is one of the practical expressions of the Culture of Dialogue promoted by the Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco – Life Beyond Tourism®.
