The “Uchikake” is realized in red silk and gold threads with floral and good lucky heron motives. Also are represented in gold the beautiful temples of Kinkakuji and Kyomizu-dera of Kyoto.

Note
Uchikake is an un-belted full-length outer robe worn over a kimono. Mrs. Masako Yamada, head director of The Nagoya Kimono Academy, has donated this "Uchikake" to the Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation in Florence, in order to promote further occasions of cultural exchange.
