The first samples of Çini were produced in the 13th century and Çini Art reached its zenith in the 16th century. The Palace of Ottoman Empire showed great interest to it and it became a palace art.
The plate was in its original gift packaging with a metal hanging bracket. There is also a brochure which describes the production of Turquart plates. The gift was given in April, 2013 in Baku.
