It a original black tea table and chair made by Itoko, the Tea table was awarded a Kyoto Design award 2014. Itoko has been developing their silk brocade technique, silk combinated with materials such as strenghened glass and glass fiber.
Shade: Silk embroidery design viewed by adding the lighting.
Table top: The silk is glued between two chemically reinforced composite glass plates which are commonly used for smart-phones and solar panels.
