Kyōgen – Oto
Kyōgen originally performed during the interlude of the Noh theater, but later the character developed independently and became one of the more important Japanese performing arts. On the contrary with Noh, which has tendency of tragedy in its stories, Kyōgen has a repertoire which is almost comical and is reflective of the lives of ordinary people. Even thought the Kyōgen mask has a humorous mood it is not always used.

As a photographer of art was very attracted by the Noh masks. After he began to produce the Noh mask as a hobby rather than for the theater in Yokohama, Japan, and showed his works at various national and international exhibitions.
