Rectangular piece of white cotton fabric with the polychrome printed stylized image of the Kikusui-Hoko float of the Gion Festival in Kyoto (see Notes). The width of the fabric is selvedge to selvedge. The fabric is in its original gift paper.

This float derives its name from the Kikusui-i (literally "the well of chrysanthemum water"), a well that has been in this neighborhood since long ago. The original float was burned down during the civil war of 1864. After an absence of 88 years the present float was built in 1952 to take part in the parade.
