The Berber fibula is a decorative and symbolic object of the Berber heritage. In its native Berber language, it is called tiseghnest (pl. tiseghnas), or tazerzit (pl. tizerzay) according to the region.
Now used more sa a brooch and is usually worn with Traditional Berber clothing, a sing of pride and chastity for Berber women.
