Tsurgooka Hachimangu is a famous New Years charm for its special power to destroy evil spirits and protect home and family.
The origin of this arrow is the one of sacred treasures of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu which was dedicated by Minamoto Yoriyoshi when he estabilished the shrine in 11th Centrury.
