| Visual Communication in Architectural Environment: Advertising in the Historical City Centers |
EACH
WORKSHOP IS MADE UP BY 3 DIFFERENT PHASES:
1) BEFORE the workshop: each group of university students from
a different country must prepare a preliminary work, to be presented
in Florence.
2) DURING the workshop there will be formed different
international mixed groups of students; each international group
will present a final work at the end of the week.
3) AFTER the workshop: once coming back home, each national
group of university students will prepare a final version of
the project. |

Kharkiv State Technical University of Civil Engineering and Architecture AFTER THE WORKSHOP
Our proposal is as follows:
We propose to use the projecting technology mainly in the evening.
In our opinion the projection imaging should be realized according to the definite scenario. It can be 5 minutes “advertising” bloc 5-7 times a day.
There is no doubt that the unexpected bright and exciting image, which is projected on a front, will attract attention. But the paradox is that the increased attention to the architecture doesn’t finish even after completing the sight but quite the contrary. We are sure of this.
We have taken the end wall of the basilica San Lorenzo as an example. In our opinion it suits very well for the demonstration of our idea.
1. Tokareva Svitlana:Information of different kind, news can be projected on the front.
2. Chebotarov Oleg:Commercial advertisement especially with the trade mark having the local colours can unexpectedly recolour the front of the building.
3. Nikolaeva Ganna:It can be possible to demonstrate the method of proportion i.e. those techniques which have allowed arranging the parts of the front just so but not differently.
4. Averbakh Viktor: I’ll be glad to see images of pictorial works of the Renaissance grand masters.
5. Nagornyy Artem:Advertisement has the female face very often.
6. Nifontova Mariya:I propose to “hang up” the virtual faced marble front because the front of San Lorenzo has not faced yet.
7. Polivanova Mayya: Advertising greeting, which is addressed to the guests of the city, can begin the advertising bloc.
8. Lopatko Polina:Pictures of nature will look very beautifully. At the same time "disappearance” of the front is possible for a moment.
