English Summary
Aims: Italian, still a minority language on the global scene, can play a major role in cultural exchanges between East and West.
The presence of Italian broadcasting stations in Central and Eastern Europe and the similar stations operating in the Pacific both show how a new network of knowledge can be developed in a original way.
Main topic of the seminar is inform the target audience (Italian mother tongue area) about the opportunity of keeping in touch with other continents through radio broadcasting presenting a wide choice of audio and visual programmes.
The aim is to foster the efforts of international partners (journalists, radio producers) in explaining their countries and relations with Italy by the means of the Italian language offering the unique location of Florence and its heritage.
The seminar is open to journalists, authors operating or interested in international broadcasting in Italian.
Knowledge of Italian language is recommended.
Participants will be invited to Florence and they will receive free accommodation on B&B basis thanks to the co-operation of Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation and Vivahotels ART IN OUR HE ART .
The deadline for enrolment : please pay attention that the Requests for Participation (downloadable through the Foundation web site) must be received the organizers within 60 days before the beginning of the Florentine session.
