  The projects of the architecture graduates must be in the following nominations:

• Architecture of Dwelling Houses

• Architecture of Industrial Buildings

• Landscaping Architecture

• Theory of Architecture

• Restoration of the Architectural Objects

• Town-planning

• Architecture of Public Buildings

  Place of holding of the Show-Competition – Florence, Italy

  Brief description of the initiative:

  Main organizational aspects:

• Representation – not more than three people from one architectural school

• Representation of the projects on the exhibition – not more than one diploma project in each nomination 

• Only diplomas of the graduates of the 2003 can take part in the competition

• Official languages are Russian and English

  Submission of the application:

  Accomodation and preliminary costs:

Participants will stay in the Vivahotel Fleming (Florence)

The cost of the single room for two people is 28-30 Euro per day.

You must come to the hotel at 12:00 am in the day of your arrival and leave the hotel at 10:00 am at the day of your departure.

  Free-of-charge services provided by the organizers:

• Visiting Florence museums that are planned in the program

• Partially payment for hotel accommodation

  Payments expected to be made by participants:

• Transportation to the venue and back

• Partially payment for hotel accommodation and meals

  Requirements to the exhibits:

• The project has to be presented in the PowerPoint Presentation 20-30 seconds long. The amount of slides should be in accordance with the amount of desks of the diploma project.

• Brief annotation in Russian and English languages

• Full copy of computer materials:
  Black-and-white copy of the project –size A3
  Annotation (not more than two pages A4 size).

  Notes:

• When providing computer materials and copies please state your family, first and middle names, name of the architectural school and the country you come from

• All texts should be both in Russian and English languages

• We should receive instructions for preparation of the materials in the computer form not later than 15.10.2003

  How to participate:

Applicants are requested to fill up the Participants’ List Form and send it (by e-mail or fax) to the Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation  before the 15^th October 2003.

All documents (texts, computers materials, papers, instructions for preparation of the materials in the computer both in Russian and English languages) must be received by the Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation within next 15^th October 2003
