Participants will receive:

   - by car: Highway A1 or A11 “North Florence” Gate, about 1 km far from Florence airport, centre of Florence direction

   - by international bus line (arrival in Piazza Adua) or by train (arrival to Santa Maria Novella Central Railway Station): then take the city bus no 22 (cost 1,00 Euro) from Piazza dell’Unità Italiana bus stop (in front of the Central Railway Station, opposite Santa Maria Novella Church), get off in viale Guidoni, “Val di Sieve” bus stop– see the map

·   Preliminary presentation of Florence, brief historical and artistic description
By Prof. Eva Mester:
·   Presentation of the workshop
·   Formation of the groups of students (in each group must be present 1 student of each faculty participating) and assignment of the subject to be dealt         with during the week
·   Withdrawal of all students’ Participants Forms (photo included) and delivering of A3 format paper where students will prepare their works
·    Agreement with hotel management about the weekly availability of a room for students’ meetings

In accordance with its tradition, the Foundation will appreciate to receive a book (also in original language) connected with the respective country,           culture or school, for its international collection

Wednesday, 21st of January 2004

MORNING: visiting Florence, studying and researching according to the project leader’s directions

AFTERNOON:

12.00 a.m.:       visit to St. Mark Museum (St. Mark Square, 1) and then to the Academia Gallery– meeting point outside the entrance of the St. Mark Museum           (St. Mark Square, 1)

after that:         visiting Florence, studying and researching according to the project leader’s directions

DINNER:

7.30 p.m.:         Only For Academicians/Representatives: dinner with President of the Foundation, Paolo Del Bianco

 Thursday, 22nd of January 2004

MORNING:         visiting Florence, studying and researching according to the project leader’s directions

AFTERNOON:

12.00 a.m.:       visit to Bargello Museum (Via del Proconsolo, 4) and then to Uffizi Gallery (Piazzale degli Uffizi)– meeting point outside the entrance of the              Bargello Museum

after that:           visiting Florence, studying and researching according to the project leader’s directions

EVENING:           free

Friday, 23rd of January 2004

MORNING:          visiting Florence, studying and researching

AFTERNOON:      VivaHotel Alexander (Viale Guidoni n. 101)

5.00 p.m.:            Preparation student’s works for presentation on A3 format

6.00 p.m.:            Presentation of all works carried out by students.    (VivaHotel Alexander)

     Each group of students of the two workshops will have at its disposal 5 minutes on the whole for presentation of their works

                           Exhibition of all works; delivering of a certificate of participation to all students; prizing the best work of the students (according to a technical                             and integration point of view).

8.00 p.m.:            Hotel Alexander (Viale Guidoni, 101)

                           Conclusive speech of Paolo Del Bianco

                           The evening will end “all together” with a Pasta Party.
