Program of the workshop: Preliminary remarks:
Participants will receive: Sunday, 1st of FEBRUARY 2004 Arrival of students and their accommodation at VivaHotel Capitol:How to arrive to the VivaHotel Capitol (not before than 12.00 a.m.): - by plane (Florence Peretola’s Airport): take taxi to the hotel or bus Shuttle (frequency 30’ from 05.30 till 23.30, cost 3,10 Euro) till Santa Maria Novella Central Railway Station of Florence: then city bus no 14 (cost 1,00 Euro) starting from Piazza dell’Unità Italiana bus stop (side Santa Maria Novella Church), get off at the Ghibellina 07 or Arnolfo 01 bus stop - by car: Higway A1, exit Firenze Sud, 2,5 km far, near Piazza Beccaria - by international bus line (arrival in Piazza Adua) or by train (arrival to Santa Maria Novella Central Railway Station): then take the city bus no 14 (cost 1,00 Euro) from Piazza dell’Unità Italiana bus stop (by Santa Maria Novella Church), get off at the Ghibellina 07 or Arnolfo 01 bus stop Other information about the hotel on www.vivahotels.com Monday, 2nd of FEBRUARY 2004 MORNING: 9.00 a.m.: VivaHotel Capitol - Raffaello Hall

Stibbert, 26); by bus no 4 from Florence Railway Station, get off at “Fabroni” bus stop – meeting point at the entrance of the museum AFTERNOON: 2.00 p.m.: visit to Palatina Gallery and then Boboli’s Garden (Piazza dei Pitti, 1) – meeting point in the front of Palazzo Pitti (Piazza Pitti n. 1) after that: visit to Florence, studying and researching according to the project leader directions and Hotel availabilities Wednesday, 4th of FEBRUARY 2004 MORNING: visiting Florence, studying and researching according to the project leader directions and Hotel availabilities AFTERNOON: 12.00 a.m.: visit to St. Mark Museum and then to the Academia Gallery– meeting point outside the entrance of the St. Mark Museum (St. Mark Square, 1) – see attached map DINNER:

with docents of the workshop, EVENING: free for students Thursday, 5th of FEBRUARY 2004 MORNING: visiting Florence, studying and researching according to the project leader directions and Hotel availabilities AFTERNOON: 12.00 a.m.: visit to Bargello Museum and then to Uffizi Gallery (Piazzale degli Uffizi)– meeting point outside the entrance of the Bargello Museum (Via del Proconsolo, 4) – see attached map after that: visit to Florence, studying and researching according to the project leader directions and Hotel availabilities Friday, 6th of FEBRUARY 2004 MORNING: visiting Florence, studying and researching according to the project leader directions and Hotel availabilities AFTERNOON: VivaHotel Capitol - Rafaello Hall 6.00 p.m.: Preparation student’s works for presentation on A3 format 7.00 p.m.: Presentation of all works carried out by students. (VivaHotel Capitol) Each group of students of the two workshops will have at its disposal 5 minutes on the whole for presentation of their works Exhibition of all works; delivering of a certificate of participation to all students; prizing the best work of the students (according to a technical and integration point of view). 8.30 p.m.: Hotel Capitol - Dinner Hall The evening will end “all together” with a Pasta Party. Saturday, 7th of FEBRUARY 2004 free Sunday, 8th of FEBRUARY 2004 Departure (bedrooms must be left at 10 a.m.)
