The new international students' workshops and the other initiatives for 2005-2006 will be visible since June on www.fondazione-delbianco.org

As usual, in March the program 2004-2005 for international integration, without competition and respecting each own identity, came to a conclusion. On the whole, 13 weekly workshops for students from different countries were organised in Florence in various fields such as architecture, art history, fine arts, music, economics, urban design, fashion, comics and others; those who are interested, may read a detailed description of each workshop (including photos and works) on our web site
The Foundation expresses a sincere gratitude to all those persons and institutions that supported her activity, thus making it possible to achieve year by year a satisfactory result; in particular the Superintendence for Florentine Museums and the staff of VivaHotels “Art in our HeArt”.
Besides the traditional activity, the 2004-2005 included also some other important initiatives that will be described in the following focus pages. Here below, we just remind the reader about some interesting initiatives for next fall 2005.

The upgrading plans, projected by a team of about 80 persons, professors, researchers and students specialised in architecture, urban design, engineering, economy and computer science and worked out for the large net of paths (mainly for the so called “via dei santuari” that goes above the usually visited places, along the crest of the mountain that connects the sanctuaries of Cinque Terre) were presented as well as new proposals for the administration of the rich cultural heritage of the upper National Park with the support of the most advanced technology. The aim is to transform the marvellous and full of rare botanical species garden that is still not very visited, into one of the most important tourist places that can offer much to its visitors. The running project is extremely important for the fragile and complicated territory of Cinque Terre that has almost 3 millions visitors a year.
