Brief description of the initiative:

Preparation of the panels using the techniques of modern frescoes on the topic "Fauna and Flora in Florence", using historical documents (as paintings etc.) of flora and fauna of old Florence as a base and inspirations.

Each student will come to Florence with a sketch of fauna or flora of his own idea (created by him but deriving from historical documents) and each team will combine sketches of it's members into a fragment of a painting (still on paper). All the fragments will be painted alfresco in the right parts (modules) of the painting. The most interesting painting (combined from 8 modules) will be arranged.

Afresco painting instruments: panels special to this kind of painting, paints and professional pigments pencils, paper, charcoal, sticks, brushes, spadels......

Organisation of the workshop is an atelier with 8 places for working groups.
