Pawel Dabrowski's student book of records issued in 1921

Pawel Dabrowski's student book of records
issued in 1921 with the stamp of the Academy
of Fine Arts in Cracow, used after Poland
regained indipendence.

The catalogue (written in three languages: italian, english and polish) was edited on the occasion of the exhibition "The Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow: 180 Years of Tradition" that took place in the "Archivio di Stato" of Florence, from 17th up to 27th November 1999.
The catalogue begins with an introduction where we can find some passages describing the Academy activities, that were written by the Academy Master, the deans of Faculties of Painting, Sculpture and Graphics and the President of the Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation, which sponsorized this exhibition.
The introduction also includes some pictures of the Academy building, as well as some pictures of the historical documents and manuscripts (such as student books of records, teaching programmes and statutes) showed in the exhibition.
The catalogue main section contains all the paintings and sculptures that were exhibited, and that can be partly seen in this page. These are sixty works carried out by some of the most representative artists who lived in Poland and taught at the Academy after the second world war. For every work the catalogue describes the main features and some interesting information about the author life.
