Japanese cultural association Tokaghe, in collaboration with the City of Florence , is pleased to present the "Concert of Koyasan Shingon-Shomyo", which will be held on November 3, 2011 at 18 in the Salone dei Cinquecento in Palazzo Vecchio. Important guests of the delegation of the Koyasan Shingon Buddhism, the Choir of the Famele school of Otsuma Ranzan and the Gregorian Choir of Florence will participate in the concert. The concert is a significant example of intercultural and interreligious encounter and is open to all with free admission (subject to availability).

The delegation, after the concert, meet representatives of the civil and religious community of Florence, before moving to Rome on an official visit to the City of the Vatican and the Pontifical Gregorian University (November 5 to 8).
