For everyone interested in elaborating applications for the European Community funding of research projects
The Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation ( Italy ) and Ivanovo State University ( Russia ) hold an experts' seminar entitled "Molecular Design and Supramolecular Architecture of Nanomaterials" in Florence ( Italy ). We are pleased to invite for participation scholars from Europe, Russia and NIS countries – chemists, physicists, specialists in practical application of nanomaterials.
Period: arrival to Florence 29th January 2006, departure from Florence 5th February 2006.
Aim: To promote the research of the interactions between the chemical, supramolecular structures and properties of nanomaterials for the future practical application of these materials.
Tasks: 1. To unite the efforts of leading specialists of the NIS and EU countries for the joint definition of the actual themes in this direction by attracting a wide range of scientists (physicists and chemists, experimentators and theoreticians);
2. To accomplish the preparatory work aimed to create the international consortia including specialists from the NIS and EU countries for solving problems in the field of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies.
3. To explore the opportunities to organise a greater cultural-scientific event (conference, yearly meeting of international organisations, or international projects to be presented to the European Community for funding, or else), where people from different countries and cultures could take part, exchange their recent experiences and improve the level of their knowledge.
