The Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation, Florence State Archive and St. Petersburg State Archive are promoting a series of yearly seminars on general themes of Archives Studies. The purpose is to encourage close relations between European and non European scholars and to coordinate future meetings between post-graduate students and young lecturers on general themes related to Archive Studies.
The seminar will focus on a comparative analysis of the problems related to contemporary archives in Central Eastern Europe, the professional education of archivists and the application of informatics technologies on the preservation of archive’s heritage.
