The Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation, Florence State Archive and St. Petersburg State Archive are promoting a series of yearly seminars on general themes of Archives Studies. The purpose is to encourage close relations between European and non European scholars and to coordinate future meetings between post-graduate students and young lecturers on general themes related to Archive Studies.
The seminar will focus on a comparative analysis of the problems related to contemporary archives in Central Eastern Europe, the professional education of archivists and the application of informatics technologies on the preservation of archive’s heritage. PROGRAM (Draft updated 9th January 2006)
