More than 100 diploma projects were presented to the public (either on
panels and projected on sequenze on video) divided in thematic area (Architecture
and Dwelling Houses, Design, Architecture and Industrial Building,
Architecture of Public Building, Town Planning, Theory of Architecture,
Restoration of the Architectural Objects); an international jury (made up
also with the participation docents of the Faculty of Architecture of
Florence) has selected the most representant for each area that was prized
by the Foundation.
The show-competition up to today has always been held in the C.S.I. area (last
21-29 September was held the XII edition in Penza-Russia); the Florentine
edition is the first absolute in the world outside the C.I.S. area and for
this reason it was thought by the Foundation as an occasion to contribute to
the mutual knowledge, to the exchange, to the dialogue and to the
professional exchange of studies and teaching among the academies and the
participants faculties.
