Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation in Florence is a non profit organization for the protection and valorisation of artistic and cultural heritage of Italy. We are pleased to bring to your notice an activity which is being promoted to support the House of Dante Alighieri Museum in Florence.
The Museum will reopen in 2005 after the architectural restauration works, but in consequence of a fire part of furnishings and documentation was lost. To restore and to furnish again the Museum after the fire will cost around 150.000,00 Euro.

Our Foundation Romualdo Del Bianco is involved in launching an appeal to wake the sensibility of those (organizations and individual persons) who care about the place which is particulary important not only for the italian history and culture with a purpose to reopen it for visitors and consequently to immortalize an historical testimony, a work of art and a figure that is universally recognized as the world heritage.

At present this appeal in the House of Dante Alighieri Museum in Florence favour was received by VIVAHOTELS, hotel company in Florence with its own project of VIVAFIRENZE - Be Part of History (www.vivahotels.com, in 8 languages).

With the present project the amount will be financed by providing incentives for the sale of the tickets beforehand the Museum opening to those who intend to support it and to take part in a group of the Friends of the House of Dante Alighieri Museum.

The House of Dante Alighieri Museum and the Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation wish that this first support would be open to the public and that it will be followed by new proposals to quicken the reopening of the Museum and to amplify the number of participants at the Group of the Friends-Supporters of the House of Dante Alighieri Museum.
