What The Foundation Romualdo del
Bianco means for me
I. First of all the Foundation opens for me possibility to see with
my own eyes and to sense Florence - the city I had realized as high Historical and
aesthetic ideal as long ago as I studied in the Art school and later in Academy of Fine
Arts. The architectural and pictorial forms cognized by means of volumes of Art History
and reproductions has become for me really perceptable and unforgettable. I am happy
having lucky chance to live in one of the most beautiful cities of the world to see
masterpieces of architerture to take unhurriedly a good look at chef-d'oeuvres
pricelessness collections of Uffizi Gallery, Pitti Palace, Academy of Fine Arts, to have a
breath of the Florentine air where every corner, street and building are the significant
pages of Cultural History.
THANKS TO OUR FOUNDATION WELL-KNOWN BECOMES NEARER TO HEART.

II. I am glad that in person of Foundation I find like-minded person with sincere
idea that creation is the mode of intercourse and it must be aimed at search of unifying.
On this way is reaching friendship and understanding. These principles I adopted from my
dear parents. Proceeding from these principles I chose teachers to me and based my own
interrelations with students while working in Odessa Pedagogical Academy. I am really
happy that the circle of my friends fills up now thanks to ideals written on banner of
Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation.
THE CREATIVE WORK HAS TO BE THE BASE OF UNDERSTANDING AND FRIENSHIP.
III. Foundation gives possibility to meet and become acquainted with people of
different spheres of creative activity who are sharing related ideals. Thanks to
Florentine meetings I find new friends - artists, architects, philologists, musicians,
people fron tourist's business, journalists. I dare to say that ROUND TABLE of the
International experts "International integration for the PEACE in the World, among
young people of different countries, through CULTURE" on 10th February 2000 was very
peaceful training ground for testing and interchanging of intellectual and emotional
experience between high standard of knowledge professionals from Italy, Japan, Czech
Republic, Poland, Albania, Hungary, France, Ukraine, Belorussia, Russia. For me is very
important that ideas of Foundation are effectual not only in Florence. They are universal.
At December 1999 in Athens I had a meeting with my friend and colleague - professor and
sculptor Thodoros Papayiannis. I was very happy to find in his creation in his new works
consonanse with my pictorial principles. I showed to Th.Papayiannis film about our meeting
in Florence, introduced to him ideas of the Foundation.
And in friendly chat our happiness took no account of time: ROMUALDO DEL BIANCO FOUNDATION
HELPS CREATIVE PEOPLE TO HAVE PERSONAL
CONTACTS.
IV. SURPRISE MEETINGS OPEN GOOD SURPRISE POSSIBILITIES.
In our Foundation more pleasant unexpectedness for me is that common value and aims of
Foundation naturally enough come from personal character and dignities of Family Del
Bianco. Precious features Cavaliero del Lavoro Romualdo Del Bianco - philanthropy,
diligence and benevolence did not become the things of the past but live in the activity
of his son Paolo Del Bianco and his big family. Warm and friendly athmosphere of the
family Del Bianco - is the heart that inspire all undertakings of Foundation. For all of
us it is the best example how THE GREAT COMMON GOALS SUBMIT TO HUMANISTS AND
PHILANTHROPISTS.
V. And at last the main point.
I PIN MY HOPES AND CREATIVE PLANS ON ACTIONS OF FOUNDATION.
I took part in group exhibition in Florence in December 1998. Participants of this project
were artists fron Belorussia, Poland, Czech Republic, Russia and Ukraine. Our partnership
and interrelations are preserved from that time. I am glad to find friends in
partnership relations like it was for example in Spring 1999 when against time was
prepared Raphael Programme Project "Florentine Renaissance influence in Europe".
During 1999-2000 years I had a chance to draw in activity of our Foundation musicians.
Professors of Odessa Concervatory created several version music of the Hymn of Foundation.
Now they take part in competition, announced by Foundation. Probably the roots of this
activity was in my meeting with Prof. RENZO STEFANI - vice-rector Concervatory "Luigi
Cherubini". In this year I was happy to prepare version of the Logo together with
professor and students of Odessa Fine Art College. The more important action in the
beginning of this Jubelee 2000 year, to my mind was 1st International Round Table of
Experts of the Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation. This meeting seems me as the symbol of
people's solidarity in Florence. My picture "Magnolia di notte. La corte
dell'Ospedale di S.Maria Nuova" was exposed on exhibition "IL GIUBILEO NELL'ARTE
2000" in spring in Florence. The idea of this picture was stimulated by Romualdo Del
Bianco Foundation. About other my plans I would like to tell after their realization.
I AM HAPPY TO ENTER THE THIRD MILLENNIUM WITH ROMUALDO DEL BIANCO FOUNDATION.
