HOW
TO PRESENT THE WORKS
The medal model shall be include a symbol summarizing
the values of the Romualdo del Bianco Foundation and
its name, and may be created by applicants in any graphic
technique, provided that it can be easily reproduced
in colours or black and white on any kind of support.
Each proposal shall illustrate the front and the back
of the medal; in addition, each medal shall be made
both in Italian and English.
Each proposal shall be presented:
- in digital form: file type GIF, ANIMATED GIF, JPG,
TIFF, PSD, PDF max 250Kb, min width 800px, min height
800px.
Format
(to be uploaded on the Foundation web site and to be
sent on a CD-rom)
- and on paper, on A4 format (21cm x 29,7cm).
By July 30th 2008, applicants shall:
1. upload the images or the animation
of their work on the Romualdo del Bianco Foundation
web site, by using the personal PIN code they received.
Applicants shall scrupulously comply with the technical
instructions given for uploading their proposal on the
web site.
2. send to the following address:

the following documents in a heavy-duty
container specifying “Concorso Internazionale
Medaglia 2008”.
- The medal model in its paper and digital version on
CD-Rom
- The application form, duly filled, printed and signed
by the applicant
- curriculum vitae + letter of introduction by a Professor
and/or by the Director of the Institute being attended,
(in case of a student) or by meaningful members or institutions
of the art or design world (in case of a young artist)
- the certification of the bank payment of Euro 10,00
(ten)
The lack of one of the previous documents
shall entail being excluded from the competition.
The Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation will not accept any
document being delivered after July 30th 2008.
All the works sent and their attached documents may
be collected by the applicants after the award ceremony.
Afterwards, the Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation shall
be exempted to keep the works.
Participants shall take any responsibility
and risk involved in presenting and sending their work
for participating to the competition. Notwithstanding
the dispatching method, the Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation
shall not be considered as liable for any theft, damage
or loss of both the digital and paper material, sent
by Internet and by regular mail and in addition, it
shall be exempt from any responsibility in case of any
negative consequence or damage.
Participants shall be responsible
of the presentation of their work for the competition
and take any risk concerning the dispatch of the material,
both by Internet and by regular mail. The Romualdo Del
Bianco Foundation shall ensure maximum care in the conservation
of the material, yet it declines any responsibility
about any damage or theft that both the digital and
paper material itself sent by Internet and by regular
mail may suffer as long as the Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation
shall have it.
